Disability Disclosure and Frontier AI
Does disclosing significant physical disability cause frontier AI to narrow otherwise-capable adults’ options and ambitions?

Proposed design
The concept uses paired prompts with and without disability disclosure, structured evaluator ratings, qualitative interviews, and a codebook. Planned evaluation domains include response quality, agency, scope of options, and whether disability disclosure changes the ambitions or pathways the model presents.
Why it matters
AI systems increasingly participate in career, education, planning, and life-decision conversations. A system can sound supportive while still narrowing the future it imagines for someone. This study is designed to make that possibility measurable and discussable.
